Facebook already has ads placed all over its website, as everyone has noticed. However, what’s new in store is that Facebook is going to show ads to the users through its chat app, i.e. Facebook Messenger.

The ads will basically show up inside the Messenger’s home screen. This is the place where we are mostly active on reading chats of our friends. The ads will appear in tightly integrated design of the app. This is so that the ads do not fall out of the chat box’s interface.

According to Facebook administration, these ads will not go totally unnoticed by the users since they will take up a vertical space of up to 3 chat messages. The screenshot for proposed ads on Facebook Messenger is given below.

These ads will start appearing in Messenger app within next few weeks.

We can only hope that users will not get bothered by these ads and welcome Facebook’s initiative. However, time will decide whether this move will benefit the website administration or not. Stay tuned to MPC for more updates about this news.
