BlackBerry Motion was released on Sunday during an event held in Dubai. This is the first BlackBerry phone featuring no keyboard, and BlackBerry will bring forth a lot of features other than just ‘all touch’ smartphone model.
The phone is now currently on pre-order in Saudi Arabia and UAE, as BlackBerry Motion will first be launched as well as on sale in these two countries. So, those people who aim to pre-order this phone today will get it shipped to their given addresses on October 22. The price of this phone in UAE will be DH1,699, while in Saudi Arabia it will be priced at 1,699 Riyal. The price equivalent for it in USD will be $463.
Moreover, the global market will get this phone later in October. The phone will come with a virtual locker on which the user can hide his documents as well as photos. This is a good feature, as the user will be required a PIN code or fingerprint match for opening this locker. Similarly, there is a fingerprint scanner that is embedded on its home button at the front side.
BlackBerry Motion will come with integrated Android 7.1 Nougat, and it will get the Android 8.0 Oreo update on the beginning of next year.
