The Asus Zenfone 3 lineup was initially rumored to come with Snapdragon 820 chipset. All three handsets were launched with specs showing Snapdragon 820 on board. Very recently we learned from a report published that Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe will be much more with an upgraded SD. Unsurprisingly, what more could be faster than the 820 engine but the next generation has advertently put everything at the second place. The phone offered in Philippine and other markets like India is likely to come with Snapdragon 823.

The SD 823 SoC is likely to hit the smartphones, for instance, Samsung Galaxy Note 6 and Note 7.  The chipset brings more efficient CPU accompanying four Kryo cores humming at a clock speed of 3GHz as opposed to the 2.2GHz top speed on the Snapdragon 820. Both chipsets can easily gel with 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM.

The Zenfone 3 Deluxe sporting SD 823 will release in limited markets in August with a Gorilla Glass 4 shielding a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display. The device will sport 6GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable in-built memory. The device can further extend its memory up to 128 GB via microSD card slot.

The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe has a whopping camera with both OIS and EIS (!), PDAF and HDR. It has an 8MP front facer with wide angle lens for taking selfies. The rest of the specs include fingerprint scanner, a 3000mAh battery, Quick Charge 3.0, and Android 6.0 is pre-installed with the Zen 3.0 UI running on top.

Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe is available in Titanium Gray, Glacier Silver and Sand Gold color options and will set you back for around $499.
