Asus has again offered a mid-ranged in Chinese market. The device dubbed Pegasus 5000 is next in line of Pegasus after Pegasus 2 Plus. To further enhance the family tree Pegasus 5000 comes as a successor of Pegasus X002 but a bit meeker than Pegasus 2 Plus X550.Pegasus 5000 has a 5.5″ FullHD display and runs on octa-core processor 1.3 GHz Mediatek MT6753 SoC.

Asus makes Pegasus 5000 official in China

Camera-wise, it has 13MP main camera unit with an LED flash and a 5MP selfie snapper. The Pegasus 5000 comes with 4G connectivity with Cat.4 LTE and bears dual-SIM capability. Local connectivity includes Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. It is powered by 4850mAh battery.

As far as the memory configuration is concerned, the base model has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of native memory, as per certification detailed. It also has 3GB/16GB memory configuration variant. Both versions will be available for purchase with China Telecom for CNY 1,299 (about $198) and CNY 1,799 (about $273), respectively.
