The devices were launched on October 16 and the Cupertino Giant only managed to sell only 50,000 units of new iPhones over the weekend.

That comes even more disappointing with total of 165,000 units in the stock for the sale, which are three times the previous stock for the predecessors of s Family, sold out in 72 hours after the launch.

Retailers are speculating that sales may grow after the price cut, which is mostly anticipated in terms of low sales or emergence of nearest competitors. It is also necessary to mention here, that India is the most expensive place to purchase new Phones all around the World.
