The argument between Apple and American department of justice is in the headlines. The department of Justice wants Apple to hack into the terrorist mobile phones and extract important information. Now the Department of Justice has further expanded its circle and has included Facebook-owned app “WhatsApp” in it.  

American Department of Justice is now after WhatsApp for encryption purposes.

WhatsApp users can send end-to-end encrypted messages. These are the messages that the WhatsApp administration cannot see. This will be a new bone of contention for the department of justice.

The dispute between WhatsApp and American Department of Justice started with the investigators decrypting a taped phone but they were not even able to decrypt a WhatsApp message. WhatsApp is of the view that how even it can give info on the subject which is unknown to them.

The American Department of Justice is discussing this matter that how to protect people which are not involved in Terrorist activities. WhatsApp has negated to discuss this issue any further.
