Huawei is now aggressively launching its smartphone in every price range to maximize its marketing mix. Huawei is globally well established company and trying to lock the deals with local mobile phone operators Mobilink, Telenor, Ufone , Warid and Zong to introduce 3G supported phone in low price budget to enhance the 3G user base in Pakistan for mutual benefit. QMobile, Voice Mobile and other local players would not be able to strike such deals with 3G Support

and Lollipop operating systems. Being a international brand, Huawei has the edge over QMobile and Voice Mobile in all respects. The latest addition to the Huawei family is the Acsend Y520 with low price budget of Rs. 11,000 in Pakistan. Huawei Y520 is budget oriented device comes with a 4.5 inch LCD display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixel. The important thing is it is having 256 colors rather than the 16M colors that has become norm. The heart of Huawei Y520 is powed by 1.2 GHz dual core processor and is paired up with 512 MB of RAM. Its back camera has 5 mega pixel with the OS of Kitkat 4.4 version. We doubt it would be having Lollipop in near future. The Huawei Y520 will go on sale starting on November 8 for roughly 11,000 PKR. At that price point, the offered specs are going to provide tough competition to the likes of Qmobile, Voice Mobile who have established themselves in the lower and lower-middle end of the Android smartphone market.
