Few days back we measured the overheating potential of Snapdragon 810 and compared it to 801. The devices ran racing game Asphalt 8. Another component of test was 4k video capturing and both maintained that Snapdragon 810 is coolest of the pair. However a later performed Benchmark results differed with HTC One 9 and got improved with software update. Now a test has been run for Snapdragon 815, 810 and 801. The chips are placed on separate devices with no cellular radio. With this we can judge the devices will perform less warmer than the real world application. Snapdragon 815 has not released yet. For all three devices, game Asphalt 8 was played and Snapdragon 815 ran the coolest at 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit. Next came the 107.6 degrees by the Snapdragon 801 and hottest was the Snapdragon 810 at 111.2 degrees. Thus Snapdragon 815 will not face the same rumors and problems as that of 810.
