Facebook is currently working on a new way through which a user can log in to his or her account. Through this new method, all that you would need to do is to take a photograph of yourself and the Facebook will recognize your identity and let you log in.

The main benefit of this new feature will be that even if you had lost your email password, or you are on flight and cannot authenticate your account through two-factor identification, then this facial recognition feature will be what you would need to unlock your account.

So, all you would now need is to show your face to the Facebook camera and that’s it!

Currently, the social media giant is testing this feature so as to release it as a permanent feature later on. Even Facebook itself has also confirmed that it is currently testing this feature and soon users will get this feature on their desktop and mobile Facebook versions.
