Google Pixel and Pixel XL would get the latest software of Android 8.0 Oreo and that special treat is first offered by Verizon Wireless. Google announced the latest version Android Oreo last week and now the update would be carried out in all top rated mobile phones as expected but Google Pixel and Pixel XL would be the first ones to receive and Verizon Wireless would be the first one to offer.

However, Verizon hadn’t made any official announcement regarding the Android Oreo roll out, support pages of the company for devices are showing that the software update is here and says, ‘the update has been tested to help optimize device performance, resolve known issues and apply the latest security patches.’

Android Oreo features are also listed on the Verizon website that means picture by picture videos, notifications with badges etc.
