Report: Glittery iPhone cases recalled, all that Glitters is not gold

While almost all believe that glittery stuff is cool but that is not really the case. It is particularly true when it comes to the glittery iPhone cases. If you own one you must get rid of it as soon as possible. According to a latest report, Casemaker MixBin, who makes accessories that are sold on Amazon and in big stores including Victoria’s Secret is recalling around 275,000 iPhone cases because of safety problem.

It is the liquid in these iPhone cases that is causing the problem. The liquid, which seems to be a type of chemical, that holds the shiny pieces of glitter inside is the real culprit. It causes skin irritation and permanent burns if it gets on your body. A number of users have complained that their case has hurt them.

Now the manufacturer is recalling 24 models of its cases for good. These include glitter cases for the iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, and iPhone 7. If you bring yours in you will get a full refund.
