The Honor 8 Pro screen is 5.7 inch with the screen stretches almost edge-to-edge for a narrow build. It comes in three colors gold, black and blue. The Huawei Honor 8 pro is not water resistant. It has a metal frame and the back surface is scratchless. At the back there is a fingerprint sensor which is pleasingly responsive and accurate when you find it.
Screen and media
It has IPS display which offers realistic image reproduction and 5.7 inch screen boasts a Quad HD resolution. It has a nifty Eye Comfort mode which makes comfortable in watching night time videos. This filters blue light to make images comfortable for the eye strain. It comes with 64 GB of storage which can be extended with microSD card. You can also put a second SIM card into the memory card slot and you can use both at once
Features
Huawei Honor 8 pro is packed inside a box which converts into a Google Cardboard style headset. It has a functional set of VR glasses which the Honor 8 pro slips inside. This is used to enjoy virtual reality games and videos. You get plenty of free games already installed in it. But you can uninstall the games in which you are not interested in. Huawei latest EMUI 5.1 offers the option of adding apps tray so you can hide away apps instead of loading your home screen
EMUI 5.1 is on the Android Nougat and it deliver lot of features. You can do multitasking due to Android Nougat with which you can customize your notifications bar and turn on various tools to make one handed use which is much better.
Performance and battery life
Huawei Honor 8 Pro has high-performance Kirin 960 chipset which is also found in Huawei’s premium devices such as the P10 and Mate 9. It offers a smooth battery experience even with high level games. The battery is 4000mAh which gives 2 days including messaging, web browsing, audio and video streaming.

It has a two 12 mega pixel lenses with f/2.2 aperture and laser autofocus. You can also shoot 4K videos on it.
Pros
- Great value
- Gorgeous screen
- Slick performance
- Feature-packed
Cons
- Seriously big
- Camera has flaws
Conclusion
This set costs £100 and has excellent features in this price range. I will recommend this phone but you can still consider buying Huawei P10 Plus which is little cheaper and with almost same specifications.
