Google Map Maker was released in 2008 for users to put in some effort in Map Maker. Users could add different locations like highways, rivers and many others; also users could give the details of these locations. Because of some wreckage, Goggle decided in last November to pull the plug on Map Maker in next year’s March.

So now in March 2017 Google closed the service or Google made it disappear. Google is now working on mixing some features of Map Maker in to Google Maps. But already many features of Map Maker are existed in Google Maps.

From now Map Maker is officially dead.

” We’ve started to graduate functionality from Map Maker to Google Maps on both desktop and mobile,” a Google support page said.
