LG might not launch its G6 Flagship in China.

This summer the hottest phone like LG G6 will not release in China, as per latest rumor. The Daum News recently published that the South Korean-based company will not launch its handset in China.

This is due to the much problematic state of its share in China’s region. The market share of LG is less than 0.1 percent against the shares of Chinese owned Oppo, Vivo, Huawei and Xiaomi. Even, the products like Apple did find the market competing, when the low cost imitators of iPhone started emerging in the region.

These brands are now sold worldwide, and they are increasing their influence in every market. LG might think it is better to retire from unprofitable market and make sure they hit the right regions which have the potential to extract highest share.

Moreover, after the failure of LG G5, it more precariously seeing the LG G6 launch as an opportunity to overthrow its competitors. In order to make things look stable LG has to get out of the markets which are potential threats to its products.

However, it is not clear whether it is a permanent withdrawal or temporary. Whatever, it is and how it goes, depends on why LG seeks it’s better to rescind LG G6 from Chinese market.
