LG is up to a new venture. The company has requested a larger ratio of screen for its next Android 7.0 powered handset in the second half of 2016. The device dubbed LG V20 is currently in works and we expect that all new technologies that are currently under work by LG might appear with this flagship.

The new LG patent is, however, future’s secret. It is 21:9 which is larger than 16:9 purporting an “UltraWide” trademark. It is the same aspect ratio used in cinema screen.

The high screen ratio will feature either on tablet or smartphone. Currently, we have one flagship in mind but it might appear with LG UV tablet series which already has 4:3 displays and is unusually wide.
