Meet the new member of Asus Zenfone 3 series dubbed Asus Zenfone Pegasus 3. This is a budget smartphone with promising innards.

Asus Zenfone Pegasus 3 is currently the cheapest in the series with price CNY 1,300 ($200) in China, where the smartphone will be launched first. It is cheaper than the cheapest, the standard Zenfone 3 in series, which is currently priced at $249.99.

Asus Zenfone Pegasus 3 is an affordable handset with 4100mAh battery.

The device is all-metal with 1.3GHz Quad-core processor. There will be two variants, one with 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage. The other will be 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM.  Software-wise, the Asus Zenfone Pegasus 3 boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow with ZenfUI 3.0 on top.

Camera-wise, the Zenfone Pegasus 3 features 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front snapper. Rest of the specs include a fingerprint scanner at rear, dual-SIM capabilities, and a whopping 4,100mAh battery.

For now, it is unknown whether the Pegasus 3 will be sold outside Asia or not.
