You will soon see Chinese marketing offering LG H848 which probably be the model number Of LG G5 “Lite”. That is currently an unofficial name of the meeker version of LG G5 with downgraded specs.

One of the major changes is that the flagship Snapdragon 820 is replaced by upper mid-ranged SD 625. The processor comes running under the hood of four Cortex-A72 and four A53 cores and for graphics it has Adreno 510 GPU. It has 5.3″ QHD screen and is backed by 3GB RAM which is one gig down from the 4GB of G5. It has 32GB native storage and likely to be expandable.

The LG H848 is all-metal with modular design, a dual 16MP and an 8MP wide angle camera setup. The LG G5 boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Though meek but the SD 625 is fully capable of 2160p video capture, which was real drawback in previous 6-series phone.
