Recently PTA released stats for 3G/4G users in Pakistan. According to this recent report the 3G/4G users have crossed 18 million mark in September, 2015.

Mobile Phone companies added with 2.22 million users during the month of September which makes it total of 18.04 million up from 15.76 million in August.

3G and 4G users combined surpasses 18 Million in Pakistan.

3G/4G users grew at a rate of 14.43% August- September time which makes it highest in past six months. Analyst say that this unprecedented boom in broadband subscriptions is due to increased utilization of portable mobile broadband devices, that includes MiFis and Wingles.

Mobilink is ranked No. 1with 878,107 new mobile users that it assimilated during the reported month. Ufone came second with 637,131 new 3G users during September 2015.

Telenor is third with 393,969 new 3G users during the September while Zong stood fourth 316,908 of its customers to use 3G network. Zong crossed 200,000 mark in 4G segment. Warid has the least approximately 156,827 new 4G users at the end of September.
