Zong, Pakistan’s first 3G and 4G network has now increased it charges up to 20% for 10 GB package. It was previously for PKR. 1500 but will now cost PKR. 1800. Similarly, the 20GB Package is now increased up to 40% with initial price of PKR. 2500 which will now sell at PKR. 3500. The charges will be applicable from 9^th of March, 2016.

Zong Data Tariff now increases up to 40 percent.

Up till now there has been no tax imposition by government, so, this increase directly comes from Zong’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer Niaz A Malik, sharing future investment plans for the year.

“Zong has plans to expand the scope of its 3G and 4G services across the country by ensuring 100% 3G and 60% 4G coverage by investing $300-$400 million in this year.”

He also answered on one query that they might not go for loan so it is obvious that what kind of alternatives Zong will use to further expand in market.
