Walking and texting on smartphones through busy roads and dangerous intersection is a dangerous habit, it has taken lives on many people. Recently New Jersey Authority is prepping to pass legislation that considers this a crime and charges $15 for finding someone texting while walking. While a city in German is taking a different stance. They are building signals to curb this issue and alarm who text while walking through busy transactions.

In German City of Augsburg, a 15-year old girl recently became a victim of Tram while passing through a busy intersection using a smartphone. This is general habit now, this handy monster has kept people so occupied that they do not even look at their surroundings, which leads to extreme carelessness and eventually some hazardous consequences.

The Germans approached this as a solution to save lives. As per few researches 20% of the people use handsets in EU while walking on the roads which is a major cause of distraction. For US stats it is even worse, almost 33% text and walk simultaneously at busy intersections.

Recently, China has also started building solution for its walkers called smombies which is to keep walker safe from dangerous accidents while using smartphone on the road.
