The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will get announced today and the stores and online retailers are already putting it on pre-order in various regions. With this we can fairly assume that handset will soon start selling in US when the announcement is made as the recent stores in the region are opening pre-orders one after the other. The rumor is we might see that the device will hit the shelves at carrier stores around August 19.

As previously mentioned the device will have same camera and SoC/RAM combo as it is in the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. The handset will sport 5.7-inch Super AMOLED Quad HD display. The other specs include waterproof chassis, iris scanner and extra biometric ID. There is also an S Pen that simplifies many tasks.
