Motorola had assured to roll-out the Oreo update to Moto X4 users before the end of 2017. So, the Motorola is now fulfilling its promise and Moto X4 Android One smartphone users in US are getting the Android 8.0 Oreo update. Most of the smartphone owners have reported and affirmed the news through Twitter. The update is coming with a build number of OPW27.1. Along with Oreo update it’s bringing the latest Android security patch level as well.

As the update is being rolled out, the Moto X4 Android One Edition owners will receive a notification to install the update. The users can check for the Oreo update personally by going to the Settings menu as well. In the settings’ menu click on “About phone” and after that tap “System updates” to inquire about the latest update. The Oreo update brings some awesome features such as split screen style feature, Picture-in-Picture mode, smart text selection, Auto-fill, and much more. This latest update also comes with a refurbished quick settings design.
