Microsoft Devices Pakistan claimed that it has outnumbered the sales of any other mid-range smartphone in Pakistan by selling record numbers of Lumia 535. The current price of Lumia 535 is PKR 14, 250.

Microsoft made this claim in event held in Islamabad while citing a research source that keeps track of sales of smartphones. Kamran Masood Naizi, Communication manager for Microsoft device revealed that

the company sold Lumia 20 times better in number than estimated. For this reason Microsoft needed to keep its stock up to meet the local demand.

Mr. Masood further said that smartphone’s wide angle camera played a major role in enticing the audience especially girls are more selfie-centric hence they are the major buyers. Moreover, the power processor with reasonable price also gave boost to sales.

Lumia 535 has 5-inch screen. The device runs on a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. Internal memory for usage is capped at 8GB with support for additional memory through microSD card with support up to 128 GB.
