Just a month ago we were constantly publishing rumors for new device to be announced alongside with HTC One M9. The smartphone was rumored to be Desire smartphone with premium specs. Now we know the retail name of this phone which is from the One series-dubbed HTC One E9. HTC Hima Ace or HTC A55 will now launch as HTC One E9, probably some other version of HTC One M9. It has 5.5- inch QHD display and is powered by MediaTek MT6795 chipset with an octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 processor, PowerVR G6200 GPU for graphics and 3GB of RAM. The rest of specs are pretty much the same as the One M9 flagship including 32 GB expandable storage, 20MP rear camera, 4MP UltraPixel front-facing snapper. It runs Android 5 Lollipop with HTC Sense 7 UI on top. Some markets will sell 13MP front snapper instead of 4MP.
There is no newsup till now on the official announcement but launch is expected to take place in China by the end of this month. It is rumored to come in White Rose Gold, Gray, and Brown Gold colors.
