Recently Apple bought 70 million OLEDs for its latest iPhone 8. So we can see clear instances of what the company is looking for. Other side is, there are also talks about its prices, where the model with least memory will cost $850, while the model with most storage will set you back near $1000.
Latest rumor has it that Apple iPhone 8 will have 5.8-inch screen and Apple will change the previous model of Touch ID with fingerprint embedded in Home button. Just like Samsung it is planning to transfer to screen but it would be costly. The recent analyst says new security systems are also the reason of surge in prices.
The only competitor in OLED for iPhone is Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+ with 6GB RAM accompanying 128GB ROM. This Samsung model will only launch for China at a price of $1030.
