BlackBerry answers to the reports that a Dutch Forensic team decrypting the emails in its Phones

In the light of recent reports that a Dutch Forensic team has hacked BlackBerry securest phones and has managed to decrypt its e-mails. The Canadian company has responded with remarks that so far they have no clue of the smartphones being hacked and the methods of e-mails being decrypted, further adding that “devices remain as secure and private as they always have been.”

BlackBerry does not have any details on the specific device or the way that it was configured, managed or otherwise protected, nor do we have details on the nature of the communications that are claimed to have been decrypted,” the company said a statement.

The company, meanwhile, did not reject the decryption claims while stating that also the user consent, third party insecure application, and inappropriate security concern of users may trigger these problems.
