HTC One A9 is the company’s newly born and the only non-Nexus to launch with Marshmallow. This handset will not only freshen up the portfolio of HTC and to give another chance to struggling One lineup.
The HTC One A9 packs 5-inch AMOLED screen of 1080p resolution with Snapdragon 617 at the helm employing octa-core processor with four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.5GHz and another four A53 humming at 1.2GHz.
For graphics it has Adreno 405 GPU with either 2 or 3 GB of RAM depending on the version in question. Also the internal memory comes in 16GB and 32GB options expandable via microSD.
HTC claims to design this phone from the scratch, mixing signature elements of the previous phone. A9 will be all –metal with 7.2mm of thickness and it seems like a pocket-friendly chap with 143g weight.
In imaging department it has 13MP sensor with OIS and 1080p video recording. The front shooter carries a 4MP UltraPixel sensor and a bright F/2.0 aperture.
Connectivity options include LTE. It has a fingerprint scanner too which will unlock your device only when the display is turned off. It is powered by 2, 150mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 2.0. The HTC A9 will come in Opal Silver, Carbon Grey, Deep Garnet and Topaz Gold. There is no word yet on pricing.
