There were rumors before that OnePlus 2 will not get Android Nougat update, but the company’s officials did not comment anything about it.  Recently company officially stated that the rumors were correct and there would be no update for OnePlus 2.

No Android Nougat Update forOnePlus 2

This came into news when OnePlus 2 posted his conversation with the company’s official customer service officer. The representative further said that” We have discontinued the updates for this device but we would have like to give the update”

Keep this noted that the company previously told that the OnePlus 3 and 3T would get the Android O update and OnePlus 2 will get Android Nougat. Now company has backtracked from their statement.

CEO of OnePlus Pete Lau stated in twitter that “We are proud to announce that Android O will come to OnePlus 3 and 3T”. He did say anything about the date and the company is also planning to launch OnePlus 5 in summer this year
