While everybody is raising the question, “When can I buy Huawei P9?” , Huawei as usual is delaying, the same it has done with its previous flagships. The Huawei P9 release has been pretty much delayed this time too. Just like Mate S was launched in September but had limited availability till the end of 2015, Huawei P9 was also promised to get to the online and brick and mortar stores till April 16 but it was pushed forward to May 6 and even now many markets are waiting for its roll out. Currently the US market is looking forward to its release but there are no signs on how and when it will happen.
Huawei has history of releasing high-end brands at cheaper rates and P9 is no exception. The design and development is quite close to Huawei P8 and Mate 8, with an amazing and new fingerprint scanner at the rear, and two Leica camera at the back. The display is 5.2-inches IPS with a pixel resolution of 1920×1080 which is quite dowgarded than Huawei Nexus 6P but gives sharper and brighter look. It can be easily used in direct sunlight with no issues. It boost 96% saturation which is quite impressive but at time it does not look natural and spoils the whole idea of true colors.
Inside the device, there is all new in-housed chipset Kirin 955 which is much stronger than previous Kirin 950 used in Huawei Mate 8. It has a 3GB RAM and the chipset is quite brute when it comes to performance. We have used it vehemently multiple times but did not find any lag in response. If the users did find any lag, use the Standard optimizer to rejuvenate its performance, which helps speed up the processor which is being consumed by background apps. It has 32GB native memory with an expandable option of 200 microSD card slot.
As far as the camera department is concerned, it has two Leica cameras at the rear. The one 12MP camera takes the primary photo and the second 12MP monochrome sensor also takes the photo. The two photo come with 300 percent more light and 50 percent better contrast making the photo a real mechanism that is out of this world. It has an 8MP front camera that offer multiple Photo and Video modes without any autofocus. It is driven by the latest version of Android Marshmallow and houses a battery of 3000mAh. The price is too lucrative to buy such heft offer, don’t miss the chance once it is in stores.
