F103 carries a MediaTek powered chipset MT6735 SoC with quad-core 1.3GHz processor accompanying superfast 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable ROM via microSD. Further F103 comes with 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display and runs on a 2400mAh battery. Connectivity options include 3G/4G, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB.

Gionee has launched first Make-In-India smartphone dubbed F103.

Camera-wise, the F103 features 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter. It boots Android Lollipop with the company-brewed Amigo 3.0 interface on top.

“We would be working towards making India a manufacturing hub for not just local consumption but also for nearby countries. Also, with local manufacturing, we are now keen on making India centric products,” commented Gionee President William Lu.

With the price tag of INR 9,999 ($155) F103 is available in Pearl White, Dawn White, and Black color options.
